Cancellation policy

Your subscription

A subscription with Patience Distillery is a rolling agreement. It has no minimum term and no fixed end date, and continues until you cancel it or we cancel it in the circumstances set out below.

The products included, the price and the billing interval are those shown on the product page and confirmed to you at checkout and in your order confirmation.

Payment

Your first payment is taken when you subscribe. Further payments are taken automatically at the interval shown at checkout, using the payment method you provided. We will notify you in advance of each payment.

Dispatch

Our releases are seasonal and produced in limited batches. Orders are dispatched when the relevant release is ready, which is not necessarily the day a payment is taken. A payment may therefore fall shortly before or shortly after the release it relates to.

At any moment, the number of payments you have made will equal the number of items you have received, or exceed it by one. It will never exceed it by more than one.

If a release is delayed, we will tell you.

Cancelling

You may cancel at any time, without giving a reason and without charge.

Cancel from your account on our website, or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect immediately and no further payments will be taken.

When you cancel:

  • You keep everything you have already received.
  • If you have paid for an item you have not yet received, we will send it.
  • Any bottle number reserved to you is released back into the available numbers once the following release has closed, after which another member may claim it. We will write to you before that happens.
  • Your entry remains in the Ledger, which is a record of everyone who has held a number rather than only those who hold one now.

If a payment fails

We will attempt the payment again and let you know. If it cannot be taken, your subscription will be paused and, if it remains unpaid, cancelled. Any reserved bottle number is treated as set out above. You are welcome to subscribe again, though the same number may no longer be available.
